Joseph LIEBY, bijoutier \u00e0 Tours, M. Le nom de galle pourrait provenir du latin gallus la limite d\u2019un district comme dans \u00ab&nbsp;ligogallus&nbsp;\u00bb mat\u00e9rialis\u00e9 par un mur ou une pile appel\u00e9e \u00ab&nbsp;Borne&nbsp;\u00bb. \u00ab&nbsp;L\u2019Ardon&nbsp;\u00bb ou en bas latin \u00ab&nbsp;aredunum&nbsp;\u00bb est un guerrier gaulois d\u00e9fenseur d\u2019un \u00ab&nbsp;dunum&nbsp;\u00bb fortification militaire en pierres sur une hauteur. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un habitat cr\u00e9\u00e9 hors de l\u2019enceinte primitive en avant-poste.<br>Les terrains situ\u00e9s entre la rue des Petites Maisons, la RN 10 et la RN 143 \u00e9taient cadastralement situ\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00ab&nbsp;Gallardon&nbsp;\u00bb. Ancien fief relevant de Montbazon.<br>Vendu nationalement le 15 pluvi\u00f4se an II (3&nbsp;f\u00e9vrier 1794) sur Jacques-Fran\u00e7ois-Henri des ESSARDS, chevalier, seigneur de Trizay, officier au r\u00e9giment de Bourgogne, il fut adjug\u00e9 \u00e0 N.&nbsp;LESUIRE.<br>Une chapelle, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9molie apr\u00e8s la R\u00e9volution, d\u00e9pendait du logis seigneurial. Elle est mentionn\u00e9e comme \u00e9tant une chapelle publique en 1787&nbsp;: on y c\u00e9l\u00e9brait la messe une fois par semaine.
